Appeals & Tribunals

Way Out for Visa Cancellations and Refusals

Have you faced a visa refusal? Is your appeal to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) cancelled? At Migration Matters, you will find the right solutions to your worries of appeals and tribunals. Our visa consultants will help in contesting or getting your visa cancellations reviewed.

What Happens After Visa Cancellation?

If your Australian visa is cancelled, you will have to leave the country. You can stay only after you get yourself a bridging visa or a protection (refugee) visa. You will be sent back to your native country. This may be the country where you were born or are a citizen of. Once you are deported, you will not be allowed to come back to Australia ever again.

Australian Visa Refusal –Reasons

There are several reasons for getting the refusal or visa cancellation note from the Department of Home Affairs. They may include any one or more of the following:

  • The wrong type of visa application
  • You fail to prove your financial capabilities
  • Filing of incomplete or wrong information
  • No awareness of the course/program you’ve applied for
  • Your sponsor has not managed to meet all the requirements
  • The documents provided by you are false and bogus
  • You have failed the character test
  • The points are miscalculated, etc.
